Dandyful provides refurbishing and upcycling solutions to businesses and individuals. When you place an order using our trade-in form, you will receive a prepaid shipping label to send your items to us. Once we receive your items, we will inspect them and send you a payment via your preferred method.
Yes. Updates are provided during every step of the process. You will receive an email when your order is received, when we see it has shipped, when it is in inspection, and when payment is issued. Additionally, you can opt in for updates via text when placing an order.

If we have an issue during inspection with one of your items, we will send it back to you free of charge, or offer to recycle it free of charge.
Used: Your item is in good working condition with no major cosmetic damage. It may have minor scratches or dings. Accessories may or may not be included. The original box is not included.

We may accept broken, flawed, or damaged items if they are newer electronics made within the last few years. These devices may still be repairable. Please include essential accesories, such as charging adapters. We greatly appreciate original packaging, but it is not required. If you have additional accessories, please include them with your devices. If you don't, no worries! We will still accept your devices.

If you could (theoretically) toss your shipping box without worry, you've done it right. A good packing job involves filling in all of the empty space in your box with void fill (think paper, bubble wrap, or even old shirts) and wrapping each device individually in such a way that they can't touch each other. Make sure there is adequate cushioning (1+ inch) between the walls of your shipping box and the electronics inside. Safe packing goes a long way in ensuring your valuable electronics aren't damaged in shipping.

Any shipping box(es) that fit all of your items will work! If you don't have a box, big box retailers carry moving boxes that make excellent transportation boxes. Reusing shipping boxes you've received recently is also a good idea.
Yes! All Dandyful packages are insured for damage or loss that arises during transit. Please note that carrier insurance covers loss and damage as a result of carrier negligence. It does not cover loss or damage due to improper or poor packaging.
When you ship your order, you will be given an estimated delivery date. This is the date that your package is expected to arrive at our facility. Usually, the delivery date is 3 - 5 business days out from the date you placed your order. Once your package arrives, we will send you an email to let you know it has arrived. You will receive another email when your order is in inspection, and another when payment is issued. If you have opted in for text updates, you will receive these updates via text as well.
You can use the label like normal. The shipping carrier will bill us for the difference.
Payouts
Most payouts are issued within 2 business days of receiving your package. You will receive an email when payment is issued. If there is an issue with your order that needs to be resolved, this may extend your payout period since we'll have to contact you.
Current payment options are PayPal, ACH (Direct Deposit), and Zelle.
Most issues with payouts are a result of your payout method being tied to a different bank account than expected. Check your banking apps to ensure that you haven't missed our payout.
As long as your items are described accurately, your offer is locked in and won't change. Should there happen to be a difference in condition or item we will notify you about the change immediately. You have the choice to accept the revised offer, or have the item(s) sent back to you free of charge.

Offers from our proprietary trade-in form take into account second-hand reliability, competitor offers, and expected item condition to create the most competitive offer possible.
We do our best to reuse and refurbish as many items as possible. Most electronics will find new life in the hands of someone else. If we are unable to refurbish an item, we will recycle it responsibly. It is our mission to keep as many electronic devices as possible out of landfills.
